Saddleback Marathon p3

	Ted Plautz (age 46) crosses the finish line in 4:44:39 in 43rd place overall.

	Michelle commented that everyone on these trail runs was especially nice. Very friendly and lots of words of encouragement.

	Handsome, charming running dude Kent Holder with Vicki and Michelle. Kent (4:52:52) says this is his last Saddleback - although we can hope he might come visit upon occasion! He is retiring in Washington and is building the house he drew and designed.

	Jamie Murphy - First place overall winner! This guy looks like what we expect US Marines should look like! Ever notice that top trail runners look much healthier (legs and upper body) than top road runners? Most of those guys have scrawny looking upper bodies.

	Scott Cone (age 41) comes flying past the finish line with his kids. Scott earned 66th place overall with a time of 5:12:59. Behind every finisher is a story worth telling. Kudos to all!

	First place Jamie Murphy with the coveted 1st place overall plaque! When I was talking with Jamie, he mentioned he was a bit disappointed. He got lost for 5 minutes (10 minutes total to get back on the course). He could have had a sub 3 hour Saddleback Marathon and the course record! Any bets who will be back next year?

	Wow! Michelle got home and had flowers waiting for her.
	Michelle, daughter Sierra (guess who loves backpacking as well as trail running?) and grandpa Doug. Sierra's beautiful Snow White Halloween outfit was made for her by none other than... Vicki Davis of RND Running. This is the end of November and Sierra still wants to wear it every day!
