April 21, 2002 Aliso Woods to Top of the World at 1,100 foot elevation
- An 11 mile roundtrip  Sunday run

Today was an early morning weekend run, so Sierra could sleep in while Mom and grandpa did an 11 mile training run for the upcoming Flo-Jo Memorial half marathon (on May 27th).  Climbing the long uphill Mathis trail up to 1,100 feet is still a slow jog and partial hike.  Pant. Pant.

Our run took us all the way up to the top of the hills in the far off distance.  Without the baby jogger we could move along at a pretty decent pace (didn't carry the camera). The roundtrip took 1 hour 49 minutes.
When we got back to the house, Sierra was up and anxious to show Grandpa how she is doing with driving her electric VW Beatle.
She is still a bit scared of the motor noise and hasn't quite figured out what turning the steering wheel does.  She likes opening and closing the door and getting in and out more than driving it at this stage.
She tried the neighbor kids backhoe!
Lets race!
