Part 4 in Vancouver, Canada and train home
The morning of October 18 - waiting for the Ferry to Granville Island. It drizzled all day!
Later we took the Ferry to the Science Center (Doug had fun playing with everything there).
Celebrating the last night in our Vancouver condo with dessert crepes - MMMM! October 18, 2001 MMMM! Super yummy! The morning of October 19th. Back on the Coast Starlight. Riding along the Columbia River. This time we had a sleeping compartment for our non-stop, 2 day, 1 night trip back. Doug finally had some time to relax and read (then throw away) all those engineering magazine he brought along. Cruising by the country side of Oregon. Each afternoon the Coast Starlight had wine tasting in the Parlor Car. They also had a trivia contest. Karen won a bottle of Cabernet for knowing the name of the ship used by the original Pilgrims to reach Plymouth Rock in 1620. No, I am not telling the answer!
