2003 WTRS 15K p3

		After all the runners passed, I biked back towards the start and came across RND Running super volunteer, Jim Pivonka. Jim goes over the entire route and cleans up all traces of the trail markings. Here he is whisking away the all important white arrows.
		Jim also removes all the trail ribbon markers and stuffs them in his pack.
		Then Jim says, "Hey Doug, you shouldn't have laid your bike in the poison oak just to take these pictures of me." Oh no - I never even gave it a second thought. (I have passed the 36 hour point now with no itching. Lucked out this time!)

H		Off to the meadow for more pictures of runners as they near the finish. Here comes the first place runner down through the meadow and just a 1/4 mile from the finish!
H		It is Fred Cowels (age 39)! Fred is winning his second Winter Trail run in a row. Fred blasted in with a 6:43 minute per mile pace in 1:02:32.
H		#298 Oliver Egeler (age 31) finished in 1:03 59 for 2nd overall with a sub 7 minute pace of 6:52 minutes per mile.
H		#280 is 3rd place Darren Cox (age 32), who finished in 1:04:14 - a 6:53 pace.
H		#250 is Dean Dobberteem (age 27) who came in 5th with a time of 1:04:41 - a 6:56 pace!

		Here comes #281 Rebecca Grissom (age 25) blasting down the trail. Her time was 1:11:18 - a 7:38 pace! First place women and a full 9 minutes ahead of 2nd place.

		#314 James Friel (age 22) came in 18th with a time of 1:16:21.
		#315 Mick Grethe (age 36) ran a 1:16:37 to get 19th overall and 17th in men. #305 Steve Gibson was one second behind Mick at the finish line and 20th overall.

		#245 Jim Stephans (age 49) finishes in 1:18: 09 for 23rd overall and 21st in men under 50.
		#278 Scott Giffen (age 40) comes in at 1:19:42 for 27th place and 24th in men under 50.
		#294 Felicia Bochiccho (age 36) comes in 2nd female with a time of 1:20:00 and 28th place overall. Sorry again for the blurry shot - it is not the photographer's fault - you are just a blur of speed!

		Here comes #271 Lori Fischer!
		Lori Fischer (age 40) swoops on by on her way to a first place in the 40 plus female category. A 1:22:31 time. 33rd overall.
