Hey Doug - take the *$#@& picture - it's raining! (Sorry...MUST wait to
get Buckingham Fountain spouting mightily and besides you all have your
rain gear on.) |

Sharon Bermon flew out from New York early that morning, got a Taxi to
Navy Pier, rented a bike and got super drenched riding North to find us!
(WE never got past Navy Pier.) |

What an adventure!
The four of us got started from the Museum about 10 AM as planned.
When we got to Navy Pier, Rich called Dottie to give her an approximate
time when we would be back from the Northern part of the ride to Foster
Avenue as she wanted to join us for lunch. Dottie told Rich it was
POURING in Highland Park. Hmm! We immediately headed back to
the Museum. Lot of drizzle, but only a few minutes of real rain.
We then drove back North to Navy Pier and were enjoying a comfortable,
warm, dry lunch when Sharon showed up. What a welcome home for her
- The windy and very WET city!

We are planning another ride on Wednesday
July 10th, when Doug is back in town.
