55^th Anniversary Reunion

Dear Classmate,
 

After months of meetings, discussions, meal-tastings, and hard work, your South Shore High School Class of 1957 55^th Reunion Committee has selected a restaurant for our reunion:
 

We decided to have table service versus a buffet as this minimizes cost and maximizes variety.  We will order our salads, dinners, and desserts from a preselected menu the night of the event.  There will also be a few appetizers and thin crust pizzas to enjoy during the social hour before we sit down for the main meal.  We have negotiated a cost of $45.00 per person.  This will include non-alcoholic drinks, which will be available from the social hour and throughout the evening.  A cash bar will be available.  The party will follow a similar format to the 50^th, just a lot of good friends, plenty of time to visit and talk, and no planned program. 

There is plenty of free Sunday parking available either on the street or in two parking lots within steps of the restaurant.  Also, the Main St. CTA Purple Line and Metra North Line stops are just a half-block from the restaurant.

Hotel information:
 

We have arranged room agreements with three hotels, two are in downtown Evanston and one is adjacent to the new River Casino in the Rosemont–Des Plaines area, close to O’Hare.  Please contact the hotel of your choice as soon as possible.  Each hotel will give you a cancellation date for your own reservation.  We will not be able to hold the negotiated group rates past mid-April, 2012.
